Our company is looking for a Apartment Leasing Agent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage lease renewal process;
  • Communicate all lease and community policies to new and current residents;
  • Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease;
  • Seek out new residents by creative marketing techniques;
  • Respond timely to all calls, emails and site visits;
  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last minute touches when appropriate;
  • Greet prospective residents and work with current residents to resolve concerns and submit service requests;
  • Tour the community & vacant apartment homes, knowledge of community floor plans;
  • Oversee and ensure the accurate completion of application and lease paperwork;
  • Adhere to marketing campaigns as-needed;
  • Answer the phone, maintain organized and proper filing systems, etc;
  • Detailed knowledge of the apartment community, its amenities and the surrounding neighborhood;
  • Documentation, review and follow-up of daily traffic, phone calls, emails and property visits via prospective resident guest cards;
  • Ensuring that available apartment homes are rented in a timely manner;
  • Maintaining awareness of local competition, market conditions and trends.

Requirements:

  • Have dependable transportation to and from work;
  • 6 Months Multifamily Industry experience;
  • Ability to work weekends;
  • Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to co-workers and customers;
  • Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability;
  • Property Management Software Knowledge (Yardi, OneSite, BlueMoon, etc.);
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws;
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media.
