Our company is looking for a Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond timely to all calls, emails and site visits;
  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last minute touches when appropriate;
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Show and lease apartment homes to prospective residents;
  • Ability to seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development;
  • Maintain work areas and office in clean and orderly manner;
  • Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies;
  • Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Property Manager;
  • Inspect models and available “Market Ready”, communicate related service needs to Property Manager;
  • Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents;
  • Prepare and submit application materials for approval;
  • Follow up with prospects after viewing homes or submitting applications;
  • Prepare service requests;
  • Removing bulk trash (including appliances).

Requirements:

  • Have dependable transportation to and from work;
  • Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability;
  • Property Management Software Knowledge (Yardi, OneSite, BlueMoon, etc.);
  • Ability to work weekends;
  • COMPLETION OF FREE BG Tomorrow’s Talent™ Class may be required;
  • If no apartment leasing experience, sales/marketing/customer service experience required;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • College degree preferred;
  • Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish / English preferred;
  • General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service;
  • Position requires extensive administrative and organizational skills; ability to organize and prioritize work;
  • Affordable Housing and LIHTC/section 8 experience strongly preferred;
  • Ability to work on several projects at once while continuing to perform day-to-day activities;
  • Valid driver’s license.
