Our company is looking for a Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Explain all features and benefits of new and used cars to guests;
  • Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations;
  • Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology;
  • Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business;
  • Turns inbound phone calls and internet inquiries from customers into appointments;
  • Spends time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options that fit their needs;
  • Follows up with prospective customers and existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads;
  • Assist with lead generation by managing incoming email leads and set appointments for vehicle demonstrations over email and text communication;
  • Present and demonstrate inventory;
  • Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals;
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles;
  • Remain up-to-date on products, market trends and certification;
  • Create and execute strategies for increasing market share;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of auto inventory, including features, condition and warranty status;
  • Conducting walk-arounds with guests and demonstrating automobile features.

Requirements:

  • Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve;
  • Previous sales experience a plus (any industry);
  • Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality;
  • Able to read people effectively;
  • Automotive Sales experience a plus but not required;
  • Ability to manage detailed paperwork;
  • Professional appearance and demeanor;
  • High school diploma required; two- or four-year degree preferred;
  • Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Outgoing with a friendly personality;
  • A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License;
  • Valid state driver’s license;
  • Completion of Ford Sales Training (within 90 days of hire) and continuing education as required to maintain certification;
  • One or more years of prior sales experience.
