Our company is looking for a Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Explain all features and benefits of new and used cars to guests;
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations;
- Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology;
- Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business;
- Turns inbound phone calls and internet inquiries from customers into appointments;
- Spends time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options that fit their needs;
- Follows up with prospective customers and existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads;
- Assist with lead generation by managing incoming email leads and set appointments for vehicle demonstrations over email and text communication;
- Present and demonstrate inventory;
- Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals;
- Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles;
- Remain up-to-date on products, market trends and certification;
- Create and execute strategies for increasing market share;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of auto inventory, including features, condition and warranty status;
- Conducting walk-arounds with guests and demonstrating automobile features.
Requirements:
- Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve;
- Previous sales experience a plus (any industry);
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality;
- Able to read people effectively;
- Automotive Sales experience a plus but not required;
- Ability to manage detailed paperwork;
- Professional appearance and demeanor;
- High school diploma required; two- or four-year degree preferred;
- Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Outgoing with a friendly personality;
- A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License;
- Valid state driver’s license;
- Completion of Ford Sales Training (within 90 days of hire) and continuing education as required to maintain certification;
- One or more years of prior sales experience.
