Our company is looking for a Automotive Salesperson to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails to potential customers to set appointments;
- Demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test drive;
- Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features;
- Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles;
- Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology;
- Maintain strong knowledge base of all vehicle makes and models;
- Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day;
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations;
- Follow up on all sales leads from a variety of sources (phone, walk-ins, internet, referrals, BDC appointments, equity mining, etc.);
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with our customers;
- Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business;
- Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses;
- Work with sales managers to ensure individual and department sales goals are met.
Requirements:
- Professional appearance and work ethic;
- Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills;
- Strong written and communication skills;
- Consistent and stable work history;
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment;
- 2-5 years sales and customer service experience preferred, but not required;
- Two to four year college degree preferred;
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required;
- Valid driver’s license required;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- superior customer service and communication skills;
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen;
- Maintain a positive attitude;
- Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s;
