Our company is looking for a Business Travel Sales Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and Reservations;
  • To generate revenue and room nights;
  • Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program;
  • Develop a proficiency of our sales policies and selling techniques with emphasis on maximizing occupancy and average daily rate (ADR);
  • Develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities and events;
  • To manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction and to solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Must possess basic computational ability;
  • Ability to establish and master goals;
  • Ability to identify and develop accounts with individual guest room needs;
  • Knowledge of all departments of hotel;
  • Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. There is minimal direct supervision;
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process;
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace;
  • Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints;
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Sales ability and skill in both oral and written form.
