Our company is looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain expense reports, sales reports and other paperwork;
  • Take part in events to market the products such as seminars and trade shows;
  • Work Assignments carried out to the highest quality level;
  • Establish and maintain materials relating to sales and knowledge of current products;
  • Discover and handle concerns from customers; deal with complaints as required;
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies;
  • Assistance with mobile app usage (technology understanding advantage);
  • Identifying relevant prospects and riders;
  • Supporting commuter scheduling;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PVF materials and ability to understand scope of MRC Global services to include pricing, supply, and contract terms;
  • Willingness and ability to be on call as needed to provide 24-hour service to customers;
  • Valid Driver’s license with the ability to meet the MRC Global vehicle policy;
  • Contact existing and potential customers to sell products and services, ensure customer satisfaction with existing products, and expand customer base;
  • Identify and communicate work in process, threats, opportunities, and related market trends as appropriate;
  • Research and develop information on new projects.

Requirements:

  • Ability to engage with both developer audiences and C-level IT and business leaders;
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) and additional related training;
  • Understanding of Big Data landscape and Business Intelligence technologies;
  • Knowledge of how various cloud technologies (e.g., PaaS and IaaS) work together;
  • Experience in sales and relationship management. Experience in technology-using platforms or Infrastructure-as-a-Service software;
  • Valid Driver’s license with the ability to meet the MRC Global vehicle policy;
  • Willingness and ability to travel within and outside branch service area, with occasional overnight stays;
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications;
  • Willingness and ability to be on call as needed to provide 24-hour service to customers;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
  • Experience in specialized sales in cloud computing;
  • Experience building and cultivating lasting relationships with accounts;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PVF materials and ability to understand scope of MRC Global services to include pricing, supply, and contract terms;
  • Experience in direct client sales/management.
