Our company is looking for a In House Marketing Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide concierge services to guests by recommending and booking guests to local dining experiences, attractions, shows, etc;
- Maintain an upbeat, positive and motivated demeanor especially when interacting with Hilton Grand Vacations guests, coworkers, and managers;
- Consistently meet or exceed company and personal sales goals;
- Schedule tour appointments and forwards information to the reservations department for final booking;
- Serve as a point of contact for resort guests and visitors to receive information on how to participate in resort promotions;
- Engage face-to-face with guests staying at our resort properties to promote opportunities to meet with our sales gallery to take a property tour.
Requirements:
- Prior sales experience is welcomed but not required;
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment;
- Must be competitive and driven to succeed;
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Knowledge of the Big Island with ability to explain activities, restaurants, and destinations throughout the island;
- Fluency in English (speak, read, write);
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- 1 year of customer service experience;
- Have knowledge of the local area;
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office;
- High school graduate or equivalent;
- Sales experience in a similar commissioned-based sales environment;
- Minimum of 6 months of proven success in a sales and/or marketing role within the timeshare industry.
