Our company is looking for a Leasing Consultant – Apartment Community to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare service requests;
  • Prepare move-in / move-out notices, inspections or procedures;
  • Follow up with prospects after viewing homes or submitting applications;
  • Prepare and submit application materials for approval;
  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last minute touches when appropriate;
  • Respond timely to all calls, emails and site visits;
  • Manage lease renewal process;
  • Assist with planning and hosting of resident functions;
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and that of major competition;
  • Inspect units for move-ins to ensure units are ready;
  • Deliver new resident gifts and move in packets;
  • Accurately prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork;
  • Answer the phone, maintain organized and proper filing systems, etc;
  • Use sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and achieve occupancy percentages;
  • Prepare leasing documents.

Requirements:

  • Sales skills;
  • Basic to intermediate math skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Must be well organized;
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media;
  • Have dependable transportation to and from work;
  • Maintain a friendly and customer service oriented approach to co-workers and customers;
  • Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability;
  • Property Management Software Knowledge (Yardi, OneSite, BlueMoon, etc.);
  • Ability to work weekends.
