Manufacturing Production Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Production Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Aligning material and putting together parts to build more complex units;
- Selecting or modifying components according to measurements and specifications;
- Checking output to ensure the highest quality;
- Keeping records of production quantities and time;
- Complete job quality and production reporting;
- General clean up;
- Partner with team members, and train associates, as required, in all areas within a Value Stream;
- Follow production schedules and meet production and quality goals;
- Operate and maintain equipment including but not limited to digital presses and/or bindery equipment;
- Learn and follow standard work for all areas within a Value Stream;
- Follow quality standards for all equipment within a Value Stream;
- Change over machinery and equipment, as needed;
- Recognizing when routine adjustments are necessary and identifying errors at the earliest possible stage to minimize production rework;
- Perform all manufacturing operations in a cleanroom or non-cleanroom environment such as assembly, inspection, and machine operations;
- Machine Operation.
Requirements:
- Ability to work on a 2nd shift or 3rd shift (approximately a 1-2PM or 9-10PM start time);
- Ability to work with chemicals, such as isopropyl alcohol, and plastic or rubber products;
- Extreme attention to detail, especially with small parts with or without correction;
- Works well with others;
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as gowning, masks, gloves, etc;
- Strong hand-eye coordination;
- Flexible schedule as well as ability to work full-time and overtime;
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English;
- Understand working within a team.
