Parts Counterperson Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Parts Counterperson to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization;
- Pulls and fills orders from stock;
- Maintain a weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock;

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;

- Pulls orders for delivery to shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Maintain warehouse in neat and orderly manner, include inventory functions;
- Treat custojmers fairly and with honestly, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices;
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish;
- Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts;
- Keeping things in neat and orderly fashion.
Requirements:
- Ability to calculate figures/amounts including; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, %, area, circumference, and volume;
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume;
- Paid time off and vacation;

- High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred;
