Our company is looking for a Personal Banker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Seeks opportunities to refer products and services for increased business to the Bank;
  • Directs calls to appropriate person/department as necessary and records and relays messages as appropriate;
  • Helps other area personnel as required;
  • Maintains privacy of customer account information;
  • Ensures that customers’ requests and questions are promptly resolved;
  • Presents and explains Bank services and products to customers and assists in meeting their financial needs;
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns;
  • Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner;
  • Opens and closes accounts by obtaining information from the customer and entering into the computer system;
  • Lead Bridge Design tasks as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Preparation of design calculations for medium and long span bridge replacement projects;
  • Perform load rating analysis and evaluation of existing structures for repairs/retrofits;
  • Preparation of contract drawings, estimates and specifications;
  • Open and close accounts, assisting members with account functionality;
  • Advise members on bank services for their needs (e.g. loans and credit cards).

Requirements:

  • Previous banking experience preferred;
  • Knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures preferred;
  • Must have reliable transportation;
  • Must have basic business acumen and professionalism;
  • Proficiency with personal computers and office machines as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages;
  • Knowledge of personal banking practices and regulations;
  • Licensed Professional Engineer;
  • Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results;
  • Sound knowledge of the customer service concept and its importance in developing and expanding customer relationships;
  • Energetic and engaging interpersonal communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize;
  • Ability to work diligently to meet sales goal, including call blitz evenings 2x a month and regular Saturday hours;
  • Complete notary training if applicable;
  • Proficiency with structural analysis software;
  • Proven interpersonal, analytical, organizational, customer service and communications skills.
