Our company is looking for a Residential Leasing Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare move-in / move-out notices, inspections or procedures;
  • Prepare leasing documents;
  • Greet visitors (residents, future residents and internal team members);
  • Prepare service requests;
  • Manage lease renewal process;
  • Plans and coordinates events;
  • Answer inquiries by phone and email;
  • Records visitor traffic, leasing status and community complaints;
  • Prepare refreshments;
  • Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting, and adding last minute touches when appropriate;
  • Respond timely to all calls, emails and site visits;
  • Seek out new residents by creative marketing techniques;
  • Prepare and submit application materials for approval;
  • Follow up with prospects after viewing homes or submitting applications;
  • Follow up with all leads and prospects that did not lease.

Requirements:

  • Ability to write correspondence and/or reports accurately in a concise and detail manner;
  • Familiar with Fair Housing leasing practices;
  • One year prior experience working in a residential leasing capacity;
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret lease agreements, market data, financial reports and/or legal documents;
  • Familiar with Yardi or similar software application;
  • Familiar with Nexus Payables or similar software application;
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license;
  • High School Graduate required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  • Ability to effectively present information to visitors, tenants, vendors, contractors and other employees of the organization;
  • MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
  • Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media.
