Our company is looking for a Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement sales strategies with other marketing and sales representatives;
- Identify new incremental business opportunities in existing accounts and new territories;
- Leadership training one on one with the Top performing individuals in our company to ensure success;
- Execution of marketing, advertising and event promotions;
- Interface with decision-makers on a daily basis;
- Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time;
- Managing customer acquisition and upselling products and services;
- Face to face sales and marketing of new services for our clients;
- Entry-level management training- customer service;
- Participation in ongoing training camps on a weekly basis;
- Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared before deadlines;
- Support sales team activities;
- Helps detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered;
- Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service;
- Acquire new customers.
Requirements:
- Resourceful problem solver;
- Ability to speak publicly with confidence and poise;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Must have the ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks;
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment;
- 10 or more years of experience in the acquisition and execution environment within the US Department of Defense (DOD) and/or the Defense Industry;
- Resourceful and highly adaptive personality. Proactive problem-solver who can make independent decisions is a must;
- Must be proactive and at times, work with minimal supervision;
- Analysis, test, policy, or government relations experience in or with the Missile Defense Agency;
- Willing and able to obtain a Secret US Government Security Clearance;
- Experience developing and maintaining close customer relationships;
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree;
- Laid back – can take a joke;
- Strong technological skills;
