Sales Porter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sales Porter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris (cigarette butts) as necessary;
- Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles;
- Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc;
- Replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary;
- Sweeps floors when needed and Keeps Dealership lot free of trash and rubbish;
- Uses Two-way radios to communicate with staff;
- Uses Key Tracking Machine to sign in and out vehicle keys;
- Makes New Car Packets when needed;
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery;
- Transport customers and dealership personnel, as needed;
- Moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards;
- Drivers vehicles to and from vendor locations as needed and requested;
- Maintains building and ground as needed;
- Building and ground maintenance as needed;
- Must cut tree branches on the fenced wall.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to operate an automobile;
- Ability to handle machinery safely;
- Valid state driver’s license;
- Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record;
- Professional personal appearance;
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information;
- Will be required to wear a dealership provided uniform;
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles;
- Ability to use hand and power tools;
- Able to pass DMV check, background check, and drug screening.
