Responsibilities:

- Safeguard the assets of the store;
- Provide suggestions to management for merchandising which may improve sales;
- Build a personal client book;
- Greet each customer and provide the sales assistance appropriate to sell merchandise to the customer;
- Present and sell merchandise consistent with the brand.
Requirements:
- Available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends;
- Proactive, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment;
- Polite and professional;
- The flexibility of schedule to accommodate the hours typical of retail store employee;
- Sufficient fashion credibility to sell merchandise to customers;
- The ability and comfort level to operate with an automated point of sale system;
- Accurately process all POS transactions, charge sends and returns;
- Understand and communicate the South Moon Under brand to all customers;
- Assist in maintaining store visual standards;
- Ensure all sales and operational policies and procedures are followed;
- Contribute to the environment by delivering unexpected service to all customers;
- Moderate lifting is required at times;
- Willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment;
- Some weekend shifts will be required during peak periods;
- Ability to interact well with the general public, faculty, staff and students.
