Senior Personal Banker Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Personal Banker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Branch Manager regarding coaching of best practice by modeling behavior towards effective profiling and tele-consulting activities;
- Proactively partners with Branch Manager to develop and implement promotional sales campaigns, cross-sell plans and tele-consulting activities;
- Begin with a personal welcome to everyone who calls or comes into a branch. Show the customer they are valued;
- Proactively partners and assists the Assistant Manager in referral coaching and mentoring of referral team members;
- Prepares necessary documentation from the sale of products and services and inputs data;
- Employ appropriate solutions for your customers. Follow through and honor commitments to ensure their financial needs and goals are fulfilled;
- In-store Senior Banker performs daily aisle time and PAs as directed by the Branch Manager;
- Prepares for and participates actively in branch sales meetings;
- Ensures that all customer transactions are handled timely and accurately according to guidelines and that cash and security procedures are followed;
- Meets sales goals as assigned.
Requirements:
- Able to successfully complete Bank product and sales training courses and appropriate certifications;
- Previous sales and cash handling experience, preferred;
- Able to be registered as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS);
- Sr. Banker – Previous experience with bank sales and an ability to lead others is preferred;
- High school diploma or GED required, unless age 18;
- Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows based programs;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
