Our company is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design custom Affirm solutions based on a Merchant’s business priorities and technical capabilities;
  • Develop pre-sales support material and documentation for new products and features;
  • Deliver presentations to prospect technical/management teams to articulate Unitrends Products and Services value proposition;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Compiles pre-sales document generation, proposals, statements of work, and supporting documentation;
  • Project managing large merchants’ accounts and overseeing the entire process from merchant interest until the account goes live;
  • Being a trusted advisor for merchants;
  • Signs off on technical feasibility of Unitrends solutions in customer environment;
  • Support Sales and Marketing efforts at events;
  • Conducts studies pertaining to development of new solutions to meet current and projected needs;
  • Talking to and building a relationship with merchants prior to contract negotiations;
  • Enhance standard software demonstrations for use by the TheeKit team;
  • Support client workshops and onsite meetings;
  • Working cross-functionally with many teams internally;
  • Ensure that internal Datalogue parties are aligned with technical customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Five years of sales engineering experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in the engineering field is a plus;
  • Excellent understanding of company products and services and possess the ability to present this information to the non-technical audience and;
  • Technical and mechanical skills and knowledge;
  • Process Management and Quality Control;
  • Hosted IP PBX and Hosted VoIP, specifically Broadsoft platform;
  • Cloud/Managed Hosting Technology;
  • Experience using 2D and 3D design tools (Autodesk, Solidworks, Maya, 3DS Max);
  • Familiarity with Enterprise IT systems, cloud applications, and web technologies;
  • Exceptional problem solving skills;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  • Experience as a sales engineer or solution engineer in enterprise software;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related work experience;
  • Ability to turn a customer’s requirements into a supportable solution;
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives.
