Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting loading operations to ensure compliance with specifications;
  • Investigating and solving shipment problems and issues;
  • Ensuring shipping area is organized and clean at all times and meets all compliance factors;

  • Determining shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Flexible Schedule;
  • Worker must be able to read and write in English;
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance necessary for adequate scheduling and coverage;
  • May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 20 pounds;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals;
  • Must pass background check;
  • Ability to read and comprehend orders, incoming material data, and to complete required paperwork;
  • At least 2 years experience in a shipping/receiving position.Strong computer skills.Have a current, valid drivers license;
  • Knowledge of computers or the ability to learn;
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Experience working in a production or industrial work environment;
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs;
  • Must be able to operate fork lift truck.
