Our company is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • As appropriate, recommend alternative sources to minimize problems;
  • Negotiate agreements to obtain best terms and conditions for the Company;
  • Typical duties/responsibilities for supply management and transportation may include, but are not limited to, the following;
  • Develop long-term continuous improvement programs in conjunction with suppliers, vendors and transportation groups;
  • Review questionable situations and interact with other groups to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of supplier performance and identify performance issues;
  • Provide technical assistance to less experienced staff;
  • Enforce terms and conditions of contracts and compliance with legal requirements and Company policy;
  • Prepare bid tabulations and select the best qualified offer;
  • Issue orders and supplements in accordance with established policies and procedures;
  • Resolve non-conformance issues and claims in a timely manner to minimize Company exposure;
  • Negotiate and issue orders for repetitive requirements.

Requirements:

  • Oversee processes beyond own department;
  • Understanding of concepts related to Qualification/Validation;
  • Understanding logistics processes of parcel, transport and warehousing providers;
  • Able to work autonomously;
  • Project management skills;
  • Process understanding, analyses and ability to visualize them;
  • Overview of logistics processes from manufacturing till end-user;
  • Able to work under pressure;
  • Demonstrating the company values and convey them to our partners;
  • Able to work in a team.
