Used Car Sales Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Used Car Sales Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals;
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses;
- Desk both used and new car deals;
- Handle and resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally;
- Assist in hiring, training and effectively leading sales associates and ensures all dealership policies are always followed;
- Maintain inventory with a quick turn rate;
- Analyze the business to determine shortfalls and develop action plans to improve performance;
- Ensure high standards are held for delivery of vehicles to customers;
- Help manage all other aspects of the sales department;
- Set sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotas;
- Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles;
- Describe all optional equipment/products available for customer purchase;
- Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot;
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects;
- Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in the management of used car inventory required;
- Ability to adapt and learn in a sales environment;
