Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Filling and packaging production line equipment;
- Ensures accuracy of packets, manifests by load;
- Assemble wooden and cardboard containers to prepare for product packing and line and pad crates/boxes as required;
- Support processing;
- Transport parts or items from one area of the facility to another using carts, wheels, cranes, forklifts or other motorized vehicles, etc;
- Close and tape boxes and count remaining pieces;
- Moving packaged items within warehouse facility;
- Keeping work areas free of debris;
- Perform specialized packaging and follow specialized shipment instructions based on customer requests;
- Works with team of loaders to complete loads by scheduled pick up times;
- Repackaging product;
- Strict adherence to safety procedures;
- Picking and filling orders and semi-trucks/trailers;
- Unloading and loading product and materials;
- Read job-related material and write effectively.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for entire shift and walk throughout the warehouse;
- Entry level – no previous warehouse or other experience is required;
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions;
- Previous Manufacturing or Warehouse production experience preferred;
- 1-2 years of experience;
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a part of a team;
- Attention to detail;
- Must be able to stand/ walk 8+ hours daily;
- Must have steel-toe & slip-resistant shoes;
- Light Computer Skills.
