Our company is looking for a Bus Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists students in the loading and unloading process;
  • keep programs and supervisor aware of any emergent situations that may occur during transport;
  • Assist at special events by driving customers/dignitaries as required;
  • Courteously and professionally transport customers to/from various locations as required;
  • Report any unsafe environment to supervisors immediately;
  • Ensure that their vehicles are operating properly each day by testing brakes, tires and other components;
  • Ensure that students under nine years old are being picked up at stops by a parent/guardian;
  • Be attentive to traffic and weather conditions while staying on schedule and ensuring the safety of passengers;
  • Stop at all stops on the route and report any delays or deviations in schedule to the transportation office;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Transports only authorized students and authorized school personnel;
  • Conducts pre-trip inspection of school bus before each operation and completes pre-trip inspection report;
  • Enforces regulations against smoking and eating on the bus;
  • Deliver buses to specified locations;
  • Performs interior bus cleaning daily, cleans windows and mirrors and exterior as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 21 years old;
  • Good verbal communication skills;
  • Be subject to a background check, drug screen & physical;
  • Must be at least 21 years of age;
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years w/ CDL BPS endorsement;
  • Maintain a good attendance record;
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a physical;
  • Report to work on time and in proper uniform;
  • Bay Area driving directions to popular sites and locations;
  • Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement;
  • Have a reputation of being reliable and on-time;
  • 3+ years school bus driving experience preferred;
  • Valid driver s license for at least 3 years;
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear;
  • Must possess a valid CDL license with a school bus endorsement.
