Car Detailer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Car Detailer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles;
- Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition;
- Clean engine and engine compartment;
- Transporting vehicles to storage location or to customer location as needed;
- Picking up or returning customer to desired locations;
- Putting trailers on vans as requested;
- Washing exterior vehicles that are returned from customers;
- Team player with good communication skills;
- Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles;
- Notifying managers of equipment malfunction;
- Repairing small cosmetic parts;
- Washing, waxing, and buffing exteriors;
- Inspect parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness and damage;
- Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle;
- Clean interior and exterior windows.
Requirements:
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality;
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license with good driving record;
- Must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license;
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future;
- Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm;
- Availability to work weekends and holidays;
- Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following schedule: Monday 7:00am to 6:00pm;
- Must be able to work every other Saturday;
- Tuesday 9:30am – 6:30pm;
- Ability to follow instructions;
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen;
- Previous experience detailing preferred;
- Thursday 9:30am – 6:30pm.
