Car Washer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Car Washer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Refuel the vehicle and log identification number with fuel needed and mileage;
- Inspect vehicle to ensure safety equipment is in working order; lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors and back-up lights;
- Inspect vehicles for unidentified body damage;
- Clean all exterior and interior windows and mirrors and vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunk;
- Clean interior and exterior windows;
- Coordinate and arrange work effectively with team members;
- Clean engine and engine compartment;
- Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service;
- Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle;
- Maintain proper function of all service tools and equipment;
- Understand and deliver on specific customer requirements;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Maintain excellent standards and quality of service to positively represent the organization;
- Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles;
- Directly report any damage to the supervising manager in a clear and timely fashion.
Requirements:
- Must have six (6) months of experience handling similar job responsibilities;
- Must have 3 months of continuous and verifiable work experience;
- Must have reliable transportation;
- Insurance requires applicant to be 21 years or older;
- Schedule #2: Wednesday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm;
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future;
- Saturday 830am-1230pm;
- Ability to follow instructions;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Shift 1 Sun, Mon, Tue, 1:30 pm-11:00 pm Shift 2 Wed, Thu, Fri 1:30 pm-11:00 pm Shift 3 Sun, Fri, Sat 1:30 pm-11:00 pm;
- Monday 715am-630pm;
- Thursday: OFF;
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background check.
