Our company is looking for a Class A Cdl Truck Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist colleagues as needed;
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Harvest policies and procedures;
  • Pickup, load and unload damaged goods and customer returns, and complete necessary paperwork;
  • Communicate with dispatch as needed;
  • Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs;
  • Ensure contents are properly secured in truck, flatbed to prevent damage/injury;
  • Track and report working hours;
  • Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times;
  • Make safety a priority at all times;
  • Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries;
  • Treats all customers with the utmost respect;
  • Maintain the service and appearance of truck;
  • Check tires, brakes, and lights;
  • Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections;
  • Services truck with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain tractor-trailer.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environment with moderate noise, sometimes slippery floors. Temperature range from 34-120 degrees F;
  • Must possess and maintain a CDL Class A with Air Brake endorsement;
  • Class A CDL with Interstate Certification as well as Haz-Mat & Tanker endorsements;
  • 2 years tractor trailer driving experience;
  • 6 mo Tanker experience preferred;
  • Valid California Commercial Class-A Driver’s License;
  • Driving record must be in good standing (Current H-6);
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time;
  • Alert, focused, and detail-oriented;
  • Skilled at driving and parking large, heavy vehicles;
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required;
  • Proficient using GPS and other routing systems;
  • High level of composure and good stress management;
  • Applicants must be 23 years or older;
  • Class A CDL.
