Our company is looking for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operates company vehicles in a professional, safe and courteous manner;
- Operate a forklift following all safety rules and regulations;
- Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company’s image;
- Has the ability to safely load and unload products according to size of load and content description;
- Performs other related duties as assigned;
- Build orders for daily package route deliveries;
- When needed, deliver products according to manifest in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations;
- Handle inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.
Requirements:
- Requires Class A (CDL) driver’s license;
- Strong knowledge of DOT rules and regulations;
- 1+ year of commercial driving experience, preferred;
- Experience with OSHA guidelines and best business practices, preferred;
- High school graduate or GED;
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to make comprehensive decisions;
- Ability to work independently to meet customer timelines and commitments;
- Experience in loading and unloading of pneumatic tanks;
- Ability to understand and relate regulatory policy and company policy;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, 70 lbs. at times;
- Ability to deliver and pick up products from multiple subcontract locations in a timely manner;
- MUST possess a Valid and Clean Driver’s License;
- Load and Unload vehicle;
- Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials.
