Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs;
- Communicatewith Housekeeping to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for Guestrooms and public areas;
- Performspecial projects and other responsibilities as assigned;
- PrepareCapital and Repairs and Maintenance budgets for Engineering;
- Develop,implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimizeexpenses;
- Conductlift emergency release procedures as required;
- Communicatewith Government agencies to ensure full compliance with statutory regulations;
- Maintenanceof all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition andtake action when any unsafe situations arise;
- Identify and introduce environmentally – friendly systems and equipment;
- Communicate with Housekeeping to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for Guest rooms and public areas;
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned;
- Conduct lift emergency release procedures as required;
- Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for the property to minimize expenses;
- Perform daily checks around the hotel;
- Ensure good relationships are built with internal and external customers.
Requirements:

- Mustpromote a cordial and caring attitude toward all other department heads;
- Abilityto communicate with hotel guests;
- Mustbe able to read and interpret Blueprints;
- Highlymotivated; self-starter;
- Performall duties required as Fire Alarm Response Team;
- Adhereto hotel safety standards;
- Performother duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager;
- Mustbe able to work well with all members of the Engineering Department and allother members of the Hotel Staff;
- Must be able to work well with all members of the Engineering Department and all other members of the Hotel Staff;
