General Warehouse Worker Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a General Warehouse Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Unloads and processes receipt of merchandise from inbound trucks;
- Loads merchandise onto trucks for shipment to company locations;
- Maintains clean work area by removing empty pallets, sweeping and cleaning up boxes and other debris;
- Packs smaller products into larger containers for shipment to stores;
- Processes all orders by locating specified product and moving product to loading dock;
- Stocks merchandise that has been received into specific designated locations.
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in basic computer word processing, spreadsheet and Email management;
- Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment;
- Should possess time management skills and be able to meet targets;
- Experience in operating basic warehouse equipment;
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in both a hot and cold warehouse environment;
- Should have the ability to work in a team.
