Our company is looking for a Logistics Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment;
  • Ship, Receive, and Deliver supplies, materials and equipment;
  • Prepare shipping paperwork according to Air Liquide Policy and D.O.T regulations;
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload carrier trucks;
  • Perform shipping and receiving related ERP transactions;
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse;
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area;
  • Maintain Inventory Control records;
  • Contact Common Carriers and Air Liquide locations to coordinate delivery and pickup of cylinders, and other materials;
  • Drives a culture of “Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time” with their actions and their words on a daily basis;
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts;
  • Follow all work processes and work instructions relevant to specific assignments;
  • Escalates any potential Safety or Quality concerns;
  • Ensure accuracy of all transactions within ERP to ensure accurate data for operational efficiency;
  • Successfully completes all assigned trainings.

Requirements:

  • Perform and execute organization’s safety programs and policies, and compliance knowledge assessments;
  • Six months’ experience in warehouse/supply chain/logistics;
  • Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructure components;
  • Associates degree;
  • Display solid organizational skills;
  • Must be able to move around a large warehouse for 8 or more hours in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis;
  • Must be able to lift 35+ lbs;
  • Exhibit effective and proactive communication across all departments and levels;
  • Working knowledge of physical IT infrastructure components;
  • Ability to medically pass a respiratory test and physical test in order to wear a full face respirator as required;
  • Prior experience working in a team-oriented environment;
  • Proven attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy;
  • Experience solving problems both independently and with others.
