Our company is looking for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating a sit down forklift or stand up train to move parts throughout the production area;
  • Loading/Unloading finished product onto forklift;
  • Prepare the paperwork required for the distribution and shipping of products;
  • Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested;
  • Receive goods into inventory and place product in appropriate stock location;
  • Operates Forklift in Compliance with the Forklift Training and Safety Guidelines;
  • Safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in an industrial location;
  • Complete all requisitions with prompt, efficient and safe outcomes;
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to factory guidelines;
  • Process scrap material for recycling;
  • Assist with quality control issues and remains accountable for results;
  • Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes;
  • Operate forklift to move material;
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move product through facility ensuring timely and accurate delivery;
  • Set up, operate or tend various pieces of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Must have resume to be considered;
  • Previous distribution Continue;
  • Warehouse experience required;
  • Exposure to TQM’s and TS/QS 9000;
  • Reliable;
  • Background, drug screen and EVerify required prior to assignment;
  • All associates will be tested and certified onsite prior to assignment;
  • Must be willing to work occasional mandatory overtime including weekend;
  • Must be FLEXIBLE;
  • Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers;
  • Must have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability;
  • Read, write and understand the English language;
  • Must enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed;
  • Must be organized and detail oriented;
  • Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule.
