Professional Forklift Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Professional Forklift to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility;
- Stacking empty pallets;
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles;
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions;
- Loading outbound loads;
- Other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or team lead;
- Use forklifts to load and unload pallets and other materials from warehouse racks, docks, etc;
- Operate assigned forklifts within a warehouse environment;
- Order Picking;
- Locate and transport product within the warehouse facility;
- Complete all job functions following proper safety requirements;
- Pulling stock from the warehouse to supply the pick lines and/or for outbound loads being worked through the shrink area;
- Unloading inbound trailers;
- Stocking product from the dock.
Requirements:
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and overtime may be required;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Must have Forklift Verification;
- Professional Forklift jobs are entry level and do not require any previous experience;
- Steel Toed Boots;
- 1 year of Forklift experience;
- Ability to be on your feet up to 8 hours per shift;
- Must have 1 year of recent forklift experience;
- Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance;
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards;
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others;
- Regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck.
