Our company is looking for a Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures inbound product and transfers received are stored in designated rack areas;
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations;
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move product through facility ensuring timely and accurate delivery;
  • Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes;
  • Responsible for scanning merchandise prior to moving it to a different location;
  • Meet Company standards for productivity;
  • Pulls product from the warehouse for shipment to the stores;
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance;
  • Osha Certified Forklift operator for an industrial location;
  • Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety;
  • Inspects and performs minor maintenance on the equipment;
  • Maintains a clean free from debris warehouse floor;
  • Conducts operations in compliance with OSHA standards;
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment;
  • Positions product on racking system.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers;
  • Must have reliable transportation;
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen;
  • Experience with pallet wrap machines, cherry pickers and other material handling equipment;
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift when necessary;
  • 3-4 years of forklift experience;
  • Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required;
  • Must be able to work a full-time but flexible schedule;
  • Must enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed;
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others;
  • Must be able to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner;
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards;
  • Ability to speak both English, and Spanish;
  • Must have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability.
