Responsibilities:

  • Perform work within project deadlines;
  • Manage traffic analysis, microsimulation, and forecast modeling;
  • Clearly communicate work through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange;
  • Manage the design ITS, traffic signal, and lighting systems;
  • Manage and grow a diverse traffic engineering group;
  • Manage the design of signing, striping, and safety improvements for urban streets, rural highways, and interstates;

Requirements:

  • 10 plus years of traffic/transportation engineering experience;
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering;
  • Professional License in Nevada or ability to obtain Nevada PE within one year of hire;

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills;
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Experience in managing traffic staff;
  • Design-Build Experience preferred;
  • Experience with traffic analysis, microsimulation, and forecast modeling software;
  • Manage relationships (including communications, workflow, and billing) with select outside preferred marketing vendors;
  • Gather and collate data for marketing planning, creating reports, and mailing lists;
  • Provide research on opportunities identified by leadership, including media outlets, competitors, and vendors;
  • Manage/traffic/anticipate marketing projects and workflow processes to ensure projects are properly resourced, and delivered on time and on budget;
  • Work with team to anticipate and troubleshoot department opportunities to improve process and workflow;
  • Provide support for franchisee and client communications, including management of approvals for creative reviews.
