Our company is looking for a Transportation Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with client;
  • Assisting in the production of proposals, presentations and letters of interest;
  • Developing, overseeing and monitoring project activities including scope, budget and schedule management;
  • Preparing cost estimates;
  • Monitor budgets/progress to ensure profitability;
  • Coach, counsel, and retrain staff as required;
  • Manages multiple transportationprojects and provides day to day leadership for team members;
  • Establish relationships with key consumer agencies to facilitate direct communication and feedback as well as proactive solutions to service concerns;
  • Evaluates client needs and identifies requirements;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Work closely with and have a deep understanding of the safety department deliverables for a Paratransit facility;
  • Identify and expedite customer complaints that require immediate attention and escalate situations as needed to client agency;
  • Determines, monitors andreviews costs, operational budgets, schedules and staffing requirements for projectteams using PM dashboard;
  • Participate in labor relations meetings and hearings;
  • Clientcoordination.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GEOPAK, InRoads or any other roadway design software;
  • Previous experience in consultative engineering with a primary focus on TxDOT or other DOT transportation projects is preferred;
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas or have the ability to obtain reciprocity within three months of hire;
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET – accredited program;
  • 9+ years of related experience;
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels;
  • P.E. license;
  • Expert knowledge of windows-based computer operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • 4+ years of project management experience;
  • Assist in identifying validity of the liquidated damages through investigation;
  • Ensure all reconciliations are completed timely and accurately each month;
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Paratransit Management;
  • Excellent speaking, writing, and organization skills;
  • B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering.
