Vehicle Transporter Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Vehicle Transporter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance;
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy;
- Safely moves vehicles between airport and off-airport locations;
- Transports vehicles safely within the airport to various service areas;
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets;
- Provide outstanding customer service;
- Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision;
- Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL;
- Load and secure cars on 5, 8 or 9 car trailers in a safe, efficient and timely manner;
- Must adhere to the delivery schedule;
- Communicate with Inspection Centers and HUB employees;
- Transport cars between locations;
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain driver log.
Requirements:
- Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights weekends and holidays;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Must be at least 20 years of age;
- 21+ years old;
- Ability to read, write and speak English;
- Have 6 months or more of tractor trailer or equivalent Military experience;
- Valid and current CDL with clean driving record;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively;
- Maintain a DOT Medical card;
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
