Responsibilities:

  • verify safety inspection sheet has been completed before operating any forklifts or jacks;
  • operate a handheld device and forklift to perform receiving transactions in the warehouse;
  • Receiving inbound freight from venders;
  • Rotating inventory and cycle counting;
  • Maintain and operate a forklift to OSHA standards;
  • Works with team of loaders to complete loads by scheduled pick up times;
  • Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes;

  • Charge, test, package, and label cell phone batteries;

Requirements:

  • Should possess time management skills and be able to meet targets;
  • Experience in operating basic warehouse equipment;
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and work in both a hot and cold warehouse environment;
  • Basic reading and math skills;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • One to two years of building materials history;
  • Ability to stand and work for several hours at a time;
  • Ability to read and understand orders and count different products stored in different areas and layers;
  • Ability to pass required background check;
  • Ability to navigate through defined computer screens;
  • Be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. periodically during shift when necessary;
  • Ability to understand, follow and issue routine oral and written instructions;
