Applied Scientist Job Description Template<\/h2>\n        \n        \n        \n            <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company is looking for a Data &#038; Applied Scientist to join our team. <\/p>\n        \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You will design experiments, analyze results and produce actionable, trustworthy conclusions from them;<\/li><li>Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels;<\/li><li>Engage with customers via public presentations and 1:1 meeting at all levels;<\/li><li>Working closely with other data scientists and data engineers to deploy models that drive cloud infrastructure capacity planning;<\/li><li>Keeping abreast of new statistical \/ machine learning techniques and implementing them as appropriate to improve predictive performance;<\/li><li>Presenting findings\/insights regularly to PMs, stakeholders, and senior leadership.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Quick learner and able to adapt to changing environment and learn new, complex topics; a consummate learner;<\/li><li>Adept and passionate about building relationships across disparate teams and working in a matrix environment;<\/li><li>Adept at communicating findings: pliable to differing audiences, skilled at various data visualizations;<\/li><li>Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer;<\/li><li>Experience accessing and working with data in SQL, or if no SQL background willingness to learn (applies to many other technologies as well);<\/li><li>Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business and engineering teams;<\/li><li>Practical experience contributing to and maintaining a large code base with code versioning systems such as git;<\/li><li>Prior experience developing production-grade statistical and machine learning code in a team environment;<\/li><li>Knowledge and ability to work within a large-scale computing context, and hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, DataBricks or similar;<\/li><li>Experience in understanding business needs and translating them into technical solutions;<\/li><li>Significant experience in Data Science and Machine Learnings with a strong proven track record in delivering positive business impact;<\/li><li>Experience in Natural Language Processing;<\/li><li>Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field;<\/li><li>Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL and Data Warehouses;<\/li><li>5+ years of hands-on experience with data science, big data experience and analytics in a business context.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    <\/div><\/div>\n    \n    \n    \n    <header class=\"entry-header\">\n    <div itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/FAQPage\">\n    \n    <div itemscope=\"\" itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n    <h3 itemprop=\"name\">What job descriptions are similar to Data &#038;
