   \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Monitoring project timelines and issuing purchase orders to meet delivery requirements;<\/li><li>Obtaining quotes and conducting quote analysis;<\/li><li>Effectively lead continuous improvement projects and ZEISS ACS Supplier performance initiatives with supply base;<\/li><li>Assuring purchased product costs and Outline Agreements are accurately established and maintained in SAP;<\/li><li>Monitoring and driving supplier OTD performance by leveraging open p\/o report;<\/li><li>Engaging corporate quality, business unit(s), and suppliers in the First Article Inspection process (FAI) to support product changes;<\/li><li>Effectively manage supplier selection to meet quality, service, delivery, cost, risk mitigation, and supplier capabilities to meet requirements;<\/li><li>Effectively communicating and engaging with wide range of ZEISS leadership levels;<\/li><li>Hosting supplier project meetings and issuing meeting notes with action items, due dates, and ownership;<\/li><li>Actively negotiating with suppliers to address quality, delivery, price, or service discrepancies.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Financial skills to assess the total cost of procurement;<\/li><li>Interpersonal and negotiating skills necessary to build effective working relationships with supply partners;<\/li><li>Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;<\/li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills;<\/li><li>One-year experience desired with SAP;<\/li><li>Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience as an procurement engineer;<\/li><li>Ability to work with a wide range of technical, sales,
