Platform Job Description Template<\/h2>\n        \n        \n        \n            <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company is looking for a Software Engineer &#8211; Platform to join our team. <\/p>\n        \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Innovate solutions to complex problems;<\/li><li>Explore new ways for us to efficiently ingest, process, store, and leverage the vast amount of data we capture;<\/li><li>Develop tooling to help internal teams automate tasks;<\/li><li>Build scalable, cloud-based services capturing and aggregating streams of data;<\/li><li>Write applications and service software components and processes; examples: logging, intra system messaging, user interface;<\/li><li>Produce high quality code that conforms to style and approaches in the organization;<\/li><li>Build a platform, services and applications that are powered by Machine Learning and Distributed algorithms;<\/li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with other R&#038;D teams;<\/li><li>Implement safety critical designs that detect errors, fail safely and have the necessary redundancy to minimize risks;<\/li><li>Develop APIs for use by external systems;<\/li><li>Help measure, define, and optimize towards target performance metrics for components across the stack;<\/li><li>Write production code in C++ for a variety of platforms, including GPUs and microcontrollers;<\/li><li>Help recruit and potentially lead a team of similarly-qualified engineers;<\/li><li>Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge;<\/li><li>Develop robust, high-performance drivers and data processing pipelines for sensor subsystems, such as cameras, lidar, IMUs, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A strong sense of quality and robustness;<\/li><li>Tenacity and resolve;<\/li><li>Collaborative style;<\/li><li>Experience working with public clouds like AWS;<\/li><li>Agility and the flexibility to adapt;<\/li><li>Uncompromising integrity;<\/li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience with software engineering;<\/li><li>Experience with JavaScript;<\/li><li>Experience with Web Technologies, Java and frameworks like SpringBoot;<\/li><li>BS (or higher, e.g., MS) in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding), or equivalent technical experience;<\/li><li>Proficiency with Git or other distributed version control systems.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    <\/div><\/div>\n    \n    \n    \n    <header class=\"entry-header\">\n    <div itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/FAQPage\">\n    \n    <div itemscope=\"\" itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n    <h3 itemprop=\"name\">What job descriptions are similar to Software Engineer &#8211;
