Engineer Job Description Template<\/h2>\n        \n        \n        \n            <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company is looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join our team. <\/p>\n        \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provide input for the development of functional layouts to minimize space and material transit distance;<\/li><li>Optimize processes from inception through startup;<\/li><li>Develop and revise SOPs, improve standard work for all positions, time studies, employee utilization and lean initiatives;<\/li><li>Audit production line process and improve production rates, work flow and quality;<\/li><li>Serve as main point of contact for capacity, process improvements tasks, and standard time inquiries;<\/li><li>Identify inconsistencies and opportunities to scale processes across the growing distribution network;<\/li><li>Implement and sustain Lean Management System at the DC;<\/li><li>Partner with DC personnel for process optimization;<\/li><li>Utilize simulation software to analyze and \/or improve work systems;<\/li><li>Utilize lean standards to drive a culture of Continuous Improvement;<\/li><li>Manage engineering function for assigned projects and activities including: processes, work standards, equipment and facilities;<\/li><li>Support DC KPIs including: service, quality, cost and safety;<\/li><li>Develop lessons learned and best practice systems, policies and procedures to leverage across multiple areas within the business;<\/li><li>Assist Project Management with the development of project scope and schedule for all process related work;<\/li><li>Create and manage waste reduction objectives at the DC.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Excellent oral and written skills are required;<\/li><li>Demonstrated experience working with equipment vendors to provide optimum solutions to equipment design that will meet or exceed client expectations;<\/li><li>15+ years of progressive experience in process engineering design;<\/li><li>B.S or M.S. in Chemical Engineering;<\/li><li>Demonstrated understanding of interactions between Process design with MEP design efforts;<\/li><li>SAP knowledge and understanding;<\/li><li>Capable of coordinating the process design with the piping model;<\/li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate to site personnel and key stakeholders;<\/li><li>Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;<\/li><li>Knowledge of system design, cGMPs, and applicable codes;<\/li><li>Working knowledge of pharmaceutical process equipment materials including polymers;<\/li><li>Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365;<\/li><li>10+ years of process engineering experience;<\/li><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in business, engineering, or related field;<\/li><li>3+ years relevant
