\n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Responsible for directing the organization\u2019s accounting functions, providing controllership and accounting expertise for the organization;<\/li><li>Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and completely in accordance GAAP and that the books are closed each Period on a timely basis;<\/li><li>Support and back up the functional areas of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;<\/li><li>Lead and coordinate the preparation and analysis of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances;<\/li><li>Other duties as assigned;<\/li><li>Propose recommendations that align with the company\u2019s financial strategy;<\/li><li>Assist in the Month End Financial reporting packages;<\/li><li>Work with Procurement to follow-up on raw material and vendor issues;<\/li><li>Participate in key strategic initiatives and assist with other ad hoc project;<\/li><li>Establish strong relationships with inter-departmental peers and be the \u201cgo to\u201d accounting source in the Company;<\/li><li>Owns the global close process and related reporting, including revenue recognition, general ledger and consolidations;<\/li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;<\/li><li>Demonstrate thought leadership in how to run an accounting organization in a high growth environment where changes are constant;<\/li><li>Prepare financial info and KPI\u2019s for Board of Directors;<\/li><li>Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting or finance;<\/li><li>You love to learn, build things from scratch and create efficient processes;<\/li><li>Provides leadership in general accounting, capital asset, control processes, and cost accounting;<\/li><li>Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP, PCAOB and IIA Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing updated for the new COSO guidelines;<\/li><li>Manage the audit process, acting as main point of contact for external auditors;<\/li><li>Ideally played key role in an IPO process and in public company execution including SOX compliance and SEC requirements;<\/li><li>Prior experience implementing new software and systems;<\/li><li>Self-directed and able to meet deadlines with professional, quality results;<\/li><li>Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;<\/li><li>Excellent ability to prioritize, including handling multiple, concurrent demands and determining what issues warrant immediate attention;<\/li><li>Transportation and\/or Logistics experience preferred;<\/li><li>Proven record of mentoring and developing talents in a global environment;<\/li><li>Passionate and persistent about operational excellence;<\/li><li>Experience in all core responsibility areas: financial and
