Engineer Job Description Template<\/h2>\n        \n        \n        \n            <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company is looking for a IT Security Engineer to join our team. <\/p>\n        \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Serves as project manager for small to medium projects sponsored by the Information Security department;<\/li><li>Participates in the budget process by specifying Information Security technical, resource and personnel requirements for capital projects;<\/li><li>Provides information security subject matter expertise in support of projects sponsored by business units and other EIT departments;<\/li><li>Insures that system implementations conform to established company security standards and\/or industry best practices;<\/li><li>Conducts laboratory and pilot evaluations of security technologies;<\/li><li>Provide guidelines, requirements, and education to development communities;<\/li><li>Contribute to development and delivery of security awareness and education programs;<\/li><li>Lead internal and vendor assessments against established frameworks such as NIST;<\/li><li>Potential secondary responsibilities (depending on internal demand) may include;<\/li><li>Define, update, and maintain policies and standards;<\/li><li>Assist CISO in development of overall strategies;<\/li><li>Provide consultation to IT team members on alignment with security and compliance requirements;<\/li><li>Monitor, detect and respond to security violations;<\/li><li>Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedural requirements;<\/li><li>Lead incident response to security breaches or intrusions, with the goal of minimizing impact and mitigating scope of damage.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Experience with automation tools;<\/li><li>Strong understanding of security architecture best practices, standards and frameworks;<\/li><li>Candidate must have previous experience with IT security and in one or more of the following areas;<\/li><li>Experience in building and maintaining security systems;<\/li><li>Experience working in large, geographically dispersed IT organizations;<\/li><li>Knowledge of Azure Micro-services or AKS;<\/li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams;<\/li><li>Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and information on both user and technical level;<\/li><li>This position requires a background in information technology along with excellent interpersonal, research, analysis, and communication skills;<\/li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively on a team;<\/li><li>PMP Preferred;<\/li><li>Experience implementing, managing, assessing, and reporting on controls such as SOX, ITGCs,PCI, GDPR, etc. is required;<\/li><li>Proven track record with security tools, policy, and troubleshooting techniques;<\/li><li>Ability to own and drive solutions from conception through completion;<\/li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    <\/div><\/div>\n    \n    \n    \n
