our team. <\/p>\n        \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities;<\/li><li>Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization;<\/li><li>Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects;<\/li><li>Drive the design, development and verification of software and components for Oshkosh vehicles;<\/li><li>Perform design analysis to ensure a robust vehicle control system;<\/li><li>Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software;<\/li><li>Responsible for the development and maintenance of software requirement documents;<\/li><li>Coordinate and maintain schedule for software development projects;<\/li><li>Linux USER space IO development and debug;<\/li><li>Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members;<\/li><li>Design, implement, and update Linux Kernel based IO for Fibre Channel(FC), NVMe, and SCSI including debug and support;<\/li><li>Lead cross-functional team in development of vehicle control systems.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Experience supporting enterprise customers;<\/li><li>Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages, including C and C++, Python, scripting languages;<\/li><li>Proven ability to establish strong relationships across large organizations;<\/li><li>Team player with a passion for learning, programming, automation, and data-driven decision making;<\/li><li>Exposure to one or more of the following: Fibre Channel(FC), NVMe, iSCSI, or SAS \u2013 strong plus;<\/li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills;<\/li><li>Strong hands on Linux kernel\/user mode multiprocessor, multithreaded programming;<\/li><li>Ability to be proactive, productive, and flexible in a fast-paced environment;<\/li><li>Ability to interact with multiple engineering disciplines;<\/li><li>Effective collaboration, relationship building, and influencing of team members to work towards a common goal;<\/li><li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering;<\/li><li>Understanding of vehicle systems;<\/li><li>Experience in overall architecture of software systems for
