{"id":28115,"date":"2020-03-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-25T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"\/job-description\/?p=general-superintendent"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T21:00:00","slug":"general-superintendent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jooble.org\/job-description\/management\/general-superintendent\/","title":{"rendered":"General Superintendent"},"content":{"rendered":"\n    \n    <div class=\"wp-block-button aligncenter is-style-fill\">\n        <a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/jooble.org\/jobs-general-superintendent\" style=\"background-color:#0b71d9;color:#ffffff;border-radius:3px\" rel=\"https:\/\/jooble.org\/jobs-general-superintendent\">\n        <strong> View General Superintendent jobs<\/strong>\n        <\/a>\n    <\/div>\n    \n    \n    \n    <div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#eff2f6\">\n        <div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n        \n            <h2 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">General Superintendent Job Description Template<\/h2>\n        \n        \n        \n            <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company is looking for a General Superintendent to join our team. <\/p>\n        \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Manage Review of Capabilities, Accomplishments and Progress (ReCAP) progress for field trades people;<\/li><li>Maintain a progression\/succession plan for all high-potential tradesmen in conjunction with the Operations Manager (OM);<\/li><li>Manage training for tradesmen;<\/li><li>Identify projects with Self-Perform opportunities and assist in the development of the Self-Perform proposal;<\/li><li>Implementation of LEAN practices;<\/li><li>Develop, document and communicate the work plan regarding changes made in the field;<\/li><li>Conduct effective pre-construction planning sessions and project site meetings;<\/li><li>Obtain or verify that the subcontractors obtain all necessary permits for construction purposes;<\/li><li>Supervise and develop the project team;<\/li><li>Establish credibility among Owners, trade contractors, unions etc. by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environment;<\/li><li>Coordinate plans and specifications with engineers, identifying and clarifying any discrepancies;<\/li><li>Create, review and update project schedule and three week look ahead scheduling;<\/li><li>Support Superintendent with overall management of construction activities and task assignments;<\/li><li>Lead contractor meetings, oversee daily reports and document using iBuild on a regular basis;<\/li><li>Conduct maintenance and planning of \u201cwork-arounds,\u201d shutdowns and tie-ins.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Proven written and verbal communications abilities;
