DevOps Job Description Template<\/h2>\n        \n        \n        \n            <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our company is looking for a Software Engineer &#8211; DevOps to join our team. <\/p>\n        \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Work with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools;<\/li><li>Need to excel in teamwork, critical thinking, adaptability, problem analysis, initiative, and planning &#038; organizing;<\/li><li>Participate in peer review of your own and others\u2019 code;<\/li><li>Key contributor in a DevOps-oriented, cloud-focused systems and infrastructure engineering organization;<\/li><li>Produce high quality, infrastructure focused software that is unit tested, reviewed, and continuously integrated;<\/li><li>Mentor and train other team members on coding standards, cloud-design patterns, and infrastructure architecture;<\/li><li>Demonstrate the ability to stick to process and procedure to help ensure appropriate controls are always met;<\/li><li>Able to work effectively in high-pressure situations;<\/li><li>Must be able to rotate to an on-call schedule;<\/li><li>Implement world-class techniques to ensure infrastructure uptime, platform resiliency, and quality updates;<\/li><li>Participate in 12&#215;7 on-call rotation, and be available to work with global teams in the event of critical outages;<\/li><li>Proficient in automating build processes and strong experience required in continuous integration techniques;<\/li><li>Develop code to support systems automation and integration with 3rd party services;<\/li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Familiarity with Node.js;<\/li><li>Professional software development experience;<\/li><li>Familiarity with agile methodologies, Scrum preferred;<\/li><li>Working knowledge or experience with REST;<\/li><li>Familiarity or experience working with relational databases (preferably MSSQL);<\/li><li>Experience working with CI and CD tools (preferably Azure Devops and Octopus Deploy);<\/li><li>Configuration Management using Salt (preferred), Ansible, Puppet or Chef;<\/li><li>Continuous Integration \u2013 experience designing and implementing;<\/li><li>Kubernetes \u2013 experience working with container-orchestration systems;<\/li><li>Experience with DevOps core concepts and Agile software development practices;<\/li><li>Comfortable with industry standard practices related to security;<\/li><li>Cancer;<\/li><li>Autism;<\/li><li>Knowledge or experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design;<\/li><li>Obsessive compulsive disorder.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    <\/div><\/div>\n    \n    \n    \n    <header class=\"entry-header\">\n    <div itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/FAQPage\">\n    \n    <div itemscope=\"\" itemprop=\"mainEntity\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/Question\">\n    <h3 itemprop=\"name\">What job descriptions are similar to Software Engineer &#8211;
