style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Represent CAP to outside entities on engineering, technical, and administrative matters;<\/li><li>Create test plans and run frequency response tests for actuators and vehicle dynamics;<\/li><li>Develop instrument mechanical installation and wiring details;<\/li><li>Select and size electrical and electromechanical components such as valves, solenoids, circuit breakers, starters, and VFDs;<\/li><li>Participate in the layout of new control panels;<\/li><li>Compose automated test scripts for system integration verification;<\/li><li>Develop vehicle performance requirements based on control system analyses;<\/li><li>Specify and size control and communications cables;<\/li><li>Troubleshoot test failures, identify root cause and recommend corrective actions;<\/li><li>Validate requirements through the use of simulations, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and in-vehicle testing;<\/li><li>Develop cable and termination schedules;<\/li><li>Develop Matlab\/Simulink\/CarMaker based tools for analysis of vehicle control systems;<\/li><li>Provide input into the development of sequence of operations (SOO) documents and functional control specifications;<\/li><li>Specify instrumentation and develop instrument lists and location plans;<\/li><li>Develop vehicle dynamics fault monitors.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Strong electromechanical aptitude;<\/li><li>Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment;<\/li><li>Experience in the application of motion control, robotics, PLC\/PC programming, and\/or vision applications to accomplish customer requirements;<\/li><li>Experience with Allen Bradley Logix PLC controls platforms a necessity;<\/li><li>Proficiency with MATLAB\/Simulink is desired;<\/li><li>Proficiency in C\/C++ desired;<\/li><li>System troubleshooting and debugging skills, both in the lab and in the actual aircraft;<\/li><li>Strong knowledge of System ID and Frequency Analysis techniques;<\/li><li>Working knowledge of modern control design methods (such as LQR) and aircraft stability and control analysis;<\/li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc.);<\/li><li>Strong knowledge of vehicle handling, ride and tire dynamics;<\/li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills;<\/li><li>Collaborative team player with strong written and in-person communication skills;<\/li><li>In-depth knowledge of Safety standards (ANSI\/RIA15.06, OSHA);<\/li><li>Digital signal
