Position Specific Description

Come join our marketing team! We are seeking an experienced, high energy Digital Marketing Manager to lead online acquisition sales growth for our residential segment through digital advertising and performance-based marketing programs, with a strong focus on SEO and SEM. This position will reside at our Houston, TX office and be responsible for developing and implementing click-based digital marketing strategies and campaigns for a variety of products and services across brands.

In this hands-on role, key aspects of the job include but are not limited to paid search (SEM), web optimization and organic search (SEO) content strategy, display advertising, social media advertising, copywriting, onsite conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, web analytics, and website property management. This individual must have strong, practical working experience managing paid search campaigns, including strategy, configuration, and optimization. Experience developing and implementing SEO and content strategies is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have experience running and optimizing digital media advertising campaigns, including YouTube, display, and paid social. The ideal candidate will have agency experience, as well as in-house marketing experience managing outside agencies. This position reports to the Sr. Manager Acquisition Marketing and has direct oversight of marketing agency partners to drive business performance.

Must have demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
Must have demonstrated experience driving lead generation strategy & delivering online sales growth.
Must have hands-on experience running cost-per-click marketing campaigns.
Ability to analyze ad platform and web analytics reporting to drive sales performance.
Experience working with creative services to produce compelling and results-driven creative.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be comfortable with ambiguity.
Must be a self-starter.
Must be comfortable leading strategy and then rolling up your sleeves to activate programs.
Experience with developing and managing to a budget.
Agency experience & agency management experience both preferred.
Content Management System experience preferred.
Retail Electricity experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Photoshop or other graphics software a plus.
Google AdWords Certification a plus.
Google Analytics Certification a plus.
Adobe Experience Manager experience a plus.
