Registered Nurse – Neurology (Telemetry)

Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Night Shift | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Neurology unit with Telemetry monitoring
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neurological patients
Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Rotate every other weekend and every other holiday as required
Float to an alternate campus location as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
Experience in a Neurology or Telemetry nursing setting
Current BLS certification
Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Willingness to float to an alternate campus as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a Neuro-Telemetry or step-down unit
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification or familiarity
Experience working in a multi-campus healthcare environment
