The CHB Operations Associate is responsible for coordinating and executing shipments to ensure service levels of clients are met on a daily basis. This role supports a small group of client accounts by expediting their shipments from start to finish; Own all CHB operations services for the customers assigned to them, including but not limited to:Providing customer service to assigned customers and assisting customers with questions and requests for information.Completes customer billing and/or other required reports.Coordination of Operations for shipments from airline, ocean piers and CFS (container freight station) to customer/consignee destination.Required to ensure that required documentation / entry package is uploaded into operating systemMaintain customer SOPs and make updates as neededRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of CHB6 -12 months of experience in the industryCargo Wise experience highly desired.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidentlyPersistently drives issues to closureWell organized, detail oriented - especially when working under pressureWorks together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamworkAbility to multi-task in a face paced environmentBachelor’s degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experienceCustoms House Brokerage License preferred but not requiredSalary : $56,000 - $60,000*Benefits: Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k MatchThe above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position.
