Originally a humble key manager, today MetaMask serves over 30 million monthly active users as a decentralized application development platform, an aggregator of decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges, and a decentralized identity manager.

As an Engineering Manager for the Backend-P platform swimlane, you will lead and manage two teams: API Platform & Datalake. These engineering teams are responsible for building and maintaining some of the core data building blocks powering user experiences within MetaMask. Your primary focus will be on guiding your team(s) to deliver high-quality, stable and performance services that enable client teams to drive engagement and revenue.

Manage up to two teams with 2-4 engineers on each, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to help them grow and succeed in their roles.

Drive delivery of key features, ensuring release timelines are met and build quality is inline with Technical and Operational guidelines.

Drive technical decision-making, ensuring that your team's solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration across the MetaMask ecosystem.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of your team's work, using data to inform product decisions and drive growth.

Communicate technical plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including product leaders, designers, and other engineering teams.

4+ years of software engineering experience

2+ years of software engineering management experience in a global role

AWS infrastructure

Experience developing APIs, databases & backend services for consumer products

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
